Rags to Riches can be called a 'hobo simulator', in the sense that it lets you live life as a hobo trying not to starve on the streets of a modern city. You start the week with hardly any money and nothing to eat, and then you'll try to work your way to the top by getting a job (and perhaps, cutting your hair and beard to get a decent one), selling empty bottles and trying not to drink too much in the process.
If you play your cards right, you might even end up on the High Street, where the rich people live. But be careful, the cops don't like bums wandering the rich streets and will do their best to hunt you down and throw you in jail. Besides, the thieves don't respect you at all and will steal everything you have, even those few dollars you found lying in the gutter.
