Ragnarok Online is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) based on the manhwa fantasy comic book series Ragnarök by Myung-Jin Lee.
The game is set in the Rune-Midgard world of Norse mythology from which Ragnarök, meaning 'doom of the gods', originates. The game world is in 3D graphics while the characters are drawn in 2D sprites done as a traditional style console RPG.
