Plague of the Moon
Many centuries ago, Margaret met the black plague. She sought the protection of the devil in a pagan cult of devil worshippers. Through demonic rites, Margarita became a powerful sorceress, whose strength increased with each year. Then, the Bloody Judge unleashed a ruthless wave of executions for profit and pleasure. Margaret was condemned to burn. From the flames, she cast a terrible curse upon the land. Then she appeared to her daughter, Alucarda. 'Avenge me, Alucarda! Avenge my death!'
You are Alucarda. You start the game on a quest for revenge, which can change. You start with no sorcery skills, so you must earn them. It is a 3rd person adventure game with classic point-and-click mechanics and a Sierra scoring system. The player must examine the environment, collect items and solve puzzles. It also has a first-person fighting part.
