In 1267 the dark lord of Wortheone, King Frank Kalap, massacred entire villages because he believed in the prophecy of the child who would rise up to destroy him. During the destruction of one of these villages, a small boy escaped into the forest after his entire family, including his 10-year-old brother, was killed at the hands of these murderers. After a few years of hiding and growing stronger, this boy would become a man and begin his journey to take revenge on King Frank Kalap.... The Dark Legions is a real-time strategy game played from a third-person isometric view. You will have to gather resources such as wood, stone and gold to maintain your fortress. With these resources you can construct buildings and recruit more soldiers. There are also research branches that you can invest in to create better soldiers, weapons or defensive force. The game has a mostly medieval setting but with the usual fantasy touches. In the single player campaign you will not only have to explore and defeat enemies, but also include dungeon exploration missions where you will have to find levers to help you solve various puzzles. There is also a randomly generated quests feature in which you'll be able to play against computer opponents.
