Asmodeus: Tajemný kraj Ruthaniolu

DOS 1996
Rutaniol is a small valley with a rich history, never short of evil plots and battles with orcs. But that was a long time ago. The protagonist, Mot, kidnapped from his cradle when he was still a child, must carry out a mission entrusted to him by his evil master: to find three lost stones called Eterons, so that his master can perform a ritual to summon the ancient god Asmodeus. . . . . Asmodeus is somewhere between a Czech-made adventure game and a dungeon-exploration RPG, rendered in 3D and then redrawn by hand for each screen. Aside from a few externally rendered animations, movement is step-based. Combat takes place in real time, and you can choose to attack or move past enemies each round. Enemies have multiple hit zones, each with their own weaknesses, which the player must first discover. There is always an enemy, but they appear randomly as the player moves around, and there is no way to escape combat or use healing. Stats are sparse, only 'energy' (aka hit points) and weapon expertise (both of which increase with combat), and defense stats that are affected by equipment, such as helmets and armor. Dead enemies do not drop any loot, so the player has to find it or buy it all. Dungeons are full of hidden compartments and containers. The caves are dark, and it is necessary to carry a lit torch at all times (players cannot fight in the dark), and carry more torches, as they will run out in a few minutes. Unfortunately, there is no automatic map, and the player has to draw the map by himself. The adventure part consists of conversations with NPCs (all characters, including the main one, are voiced), combining objects and solving puzzles.
