Robinson's Requiem

Robinson's Requiem is a video game in the simulation genre developed by Silmarils and published by Silmarils originally released in 1994. It is currently playable on DOS.

In the distant future, mankind has succeeded in faster-than-light space travel, but the galaxy remains a vast unknown. To map the stars and planets, explorers called 'Robinsons' are sent on reconnaissance missions. Most of the time, the Robinsons sent out are individuals considered dangerous to society and whose ships are sabotaged.

The player plays one of these Robinsons who gets stranded on a mysterious alien planet where a telepathic woman is also stationed. It turns out that she knows a way off the planet, but she needs your help to escape.

Gameplay consists of first-person role-playing with an emphasis on character modeling and survival. Take a dip when it's cold and you're sure to catch the flu, don't treat an infected wound and amputation is on the way, etc. You must make your own tools from what you find on the planet and the game uses prerendered sprites on voxel-tech terrain for graphics.
