Description Rock 'n Roll

Rock 'n Roll is a real-time puzzle game.

There is a ball that is trapped in a maze for no apparent reason. Never mind... let's help him out, shall we? You control the cute spotted ball with the cursor keys. It will gain speed as it moves forward, bounce when it collides with obstacles, lose energy when it gets caught in traps and die when it falls off the platform. The 32 levels through which you have to guide the ball are full of traps: laser barriers, ramps, pipes, breakable tiles, etc. Colored keys open doors and switches create (or destroy) useful objects. These include spikes to repair floor tiles, parachutes to keep you from falling, and bombs to destroy walls. Items must be purchased with coins found throughout the level. The inertia of the ball has a very realistic feel to it, making control intuitive and relatively easy. Not so easy, however, is the design of the (huge) levels; to finish Rock 'n Roll, you need skill as well as patience. Got the balls?
