Rugby is a video game in the sports genre developed by Creative Assembly Ltd., The and published by Electronic Arts, Inc. originally released in 2000. It is currently playable on Windows.

As the first Rugby title for Playstation 2, EA Sports Rugby is a complete simulation of the sport (played primarily in Europe, Australasia and Africa). All the major Rugby nations are represented, including Australia (current world champions), New Zealand, England, France and South Africa. In addition, the game is fully licensed and all players from all teams are represented in the game.

There are many trophies to win, here is a quick overview:

World Cup: As in the soccer variety, the best in the world fight to become world champions.

6 Nations: Only 6 nations are represented in this European tournament to play as: Scotland, England, Wales, Ireland, France and Italy.

Tri-Nations: Australia, New Zealand and South Africa play in this tournament.

Bledisloe Cup: Australia and New Zealand face each other in a best-of-three tournament.

Calcutta Cup: Very similar to the previous one, except that England and Scotland face each other.
