Seal of the Pharaoh

Seal of the Pharaoh is a video game in the role-playing (rpg) genre developed by System Sacom and published by Panasonic Software Company originally released in 1994. It is currently playable on 3DO.

Seal of the Pharaoh is a light RPG with simple real-time combat and some puzzle solving. The player takes control of the son of a prominent archaeologist, who has recently discovered the lost tomb of Rassius III, and has disappeared. Now the player must find him by exploring the tomb, but at the same time must avoid the various traps and enemies that come his way.

The perspective is in first person and the player advances through the labyrinthine pyramid equipped with a club, a shield and a diary. As they progress, they must avoid traps, but also use the club and shield to eliminate enemies such as giant wasps, scorpions and even enchanted urns. More powerful weapons and items can be obtained through exploration, as well as clues to decipher the journal and various puzzles that must be solved to advance. The RPG element is present in the training of weapons; the more the protagonist uses a weapon, the greater the damage inflicted with it.
