Description Sesame Street: Letter-Go-Round
The Sesame Street Muppets invite a child player to take a spin on the letter wheel. By catching and matching letters on a spinning Ferris wheel, children practice letter recognition and matching, simple spelling and word formation.
There are several types of play:
- Uppercase matching;
- Lowercase matching;
- Uppercase and lowercase matching;
- Small word;
- What is missing?
- Spell the secret word.
At the beginning of each game, one of the Muppet mascots pulls out a letter to match or a word to spell and drops it on the seesaw. A letter appears in each bucket on the Ferris wheel and, as the Letter-Go-Round spins, the child must find the correct letter to match or complete a word. The child can choose and try any letter, as there is no time limit to play. When a match is made or a word is completed, the Muppet mascots will dance and encourage the child player to the next round of play.
The game is recommended for a 3 to 4 year old player.
