Short Circuit

Short Circuit is a video game in the action genre developed by Ocean Software Ltd. and published by Ocean Software Ltd. originally released in 1987. It is currently playable on Amstrad CPC.

A strange lightning strike has caused Robot 5 to acquire human feelings, and its creators at Nova Robotics are eager to open it up and find out how it happened. Robot 5 is desperate to escape and survive in the world.

Short Circuit is divided into two parts, which differ from the Commodore 64 game of the same name, and each can be played independently. The first is viewed in third-person 3D, as our hero moves from room to room through various doors. You can pick up objects that allow you to jump and shoot. You can use the objects in your possession, pick them up by searching the desks or link to some of the available computers to use their functionality.

In the second phase, armed with jumping and shooting abilities, Number 5 must simply escape as fast as he can. Guards and other robots chase him, and must be shot at. Your robot becomes increasingly depressed as it kills wildlife, and this may end up costing you a life, so be sure to jump or duck around them.
