Silent Service II is a video game in the action genre developed by MPS Labs and published by MicroProse Software, Inc. originally released in 1990. It is currently playable on DOS.
World War II is raging. The United States has suffered an attack on Pearl Harbor and most of its battleships are lost. The few remaining U.S. aircraft carriers fight a desperate war against Japanese surface fleets. But the U.S. has a secret weapon: sleek, silent, and deadly? you are a Submarine Commander!
The action is seen from inside the submarine. Keep an eye on speed, direction and depth. This game features 9 types of submarines to choose from, 10 types of torpedoes to fire, 14 Japanese surface ships (9 warships, 5 transports) and the entire Pacific Ocean as the battlefield. The seven missions recreate real U.S. Navy engagements - can you sink the Yamato?
