Sky Jinks is a video game in the racing / driving genre developed by Activision, Inc. and published by Activision, Inc. originally released in 1982. It is currently playable on Atari 2600.
Slalom around the pylons (red cakes on the right, blue cakes on the left). Try not to fly over the pylons or hit the pylons, trees or hot air balloons. Try to get the best time. If you fly over the wrong pylons, you will be penalized 3 seconds for each pylon you fly over. The total number of pylons remaining will be displayed above the time at the top of the screen. If you hit a tree, pylon or balloon, your plane will crash to the ground. You will not die, but you will have to take off again, which will affect your time. Hitting a pylon does not reduce the number of pylons. Hitting a pylon does not reduce the pylon count, but it does reduce the time, as the plane slows down. Pressing the fire button accelerates it, and releasing it slows it down. Move the joystick left or right to turn. You need to have good timing because you can't turn instantly while tilting. Moving the joystick up and down does nothing.
