Description Squigs
Squigs is a public domain variant of Sega's arcade game Columns.
In this version, the blocks are represented by cute aliens of various colors (between 5 and 8, depending on the difficulty level). They fall in random groups of 3 and have to be grouped in horizontal, vertical or diagonal sequences of 3 of the same color. The diagonal sequences are the hardest to get, but they give the most points. The real trick is to set up combos where one line makes other blocks fall to create other lines.
The Columns Flash game is represented here as a 'Rescue' game, where the objective is to remove a particular block, which is indicated by a 'Help' sign.
