Star Wreck is a video game in the adventure genre and published by Alternative Software Ltd. originally released in 1987. It is currently playable on Commodore 64, Amstrad CPC.
Star Wreck is a single-player text adventure game with graphics that is a parody of the Star Trek television series.
The player takes the role of Captain James T. Cake of the starship Paralysed. The mission is to travel to the planet Dandrox and deliver a Trell and a Rigellian Slime beast that are needed there for experimental purposes. On board is the Thracian ambassador to Dandrox.and a Krall traveling elsewhere.
The ship begins to fall apart as the game progresses and several of the puzzles are based on solving these problems in order to reach the destination.
The game is controlled entirely with the keyboard. The text parser claims to have a vocabulary of over a hundred words, including energize, taste, caress, kiss, and reverse.
