Stellar Crusade is a video game in the strategy genre and published by Strategic Simulations, Inc. originally released in 1988. It is currently playable on DOS.
Norm Koger's first game published by SSI was severely marred by a weak manual that, through SSI's 'liberal' edition, removed eleven pages of necessary information and made the game very difficult to play. Even with the documentation, this game of religious jihad on an intergalactic scale is tedious and plagued by gameplay imbalances. Still, it's a commendable effort, and the game's interstellar economic model is very complex for its time. Recommended, but be sure to get the unpublished version of the manual from Norm Koger's website.
