Stringer

Stringer is a video game in the action genre and published by Addictive Games Ltd originally released in 1985. It is currently playable on Commodore 64.

In Mr. Angry, you play a photographer who photographs women for his own enjoyment. The goal of the game is to search behind the doors for four objects: a pass, a key, a camera and a light bulb for the camera. Once you get them, open the leftmost door and photograph a woman who tries to look pretty by crossing her legs every five seconds.

But there's a catch: you're prevented from completing your tasks by the hotel inspector, the manager and one of the bar patrons. Also, if you open enough doors to find the objects you need, you will most likely wake up Mr. Angry, who will stop at nothing to hinder your work. Most of the time, an object of yours will be behind his door.

There are 10 screens (or floors) to complete. After 10 screens, the difficulty level goes up, and new characters like the chef and the security guard start appearing, which makes Mr. Angry even more fun. You also have a deadline by which you have to get everything. If you miss that deadline, you lose a life. As usual, if you lose all lives, it's game over.

Certain doors are hard to reach unless you use elevators. Your enemies are smart enough to know how to use them, and they can trap you even when you are in these elevators. However, the only thing they can't use are the conveyor belts on screens 9 and 10.
