Description Summer Carnival '93: Nexzr Special
Released specifically for Naxat Soft's 1993 Summer Carnival, Nexzr Special is a collection of stages and short modes that share their basic gameplay and visual appearance with Nexzr. The normal mode features familiar regular enemies and some new bosses. 'Carnival Mode' contains Score Attack and Time Attack modes, both of which require the player to focus on achieving the highest score rather than simply surviving. As a result, the difficulty of these modes is more forgiving; they allow more continues and feature more generous power-ups. These modes also offer more destructible objects on the screen, as they specifically serve to increase the score.
