Surfer's Paradise But Danger Below! is a video game in the sports genre and published by Video Gems originally released in 1983. It is currently playable on Atari 2600.
In Surfers Paradise, the player's goal is to stay on the waves for as long as possible. From time to time, a shark will approach the player, and the player will try to avoid it by jumping. If they fail or fail to stay above the wave, they will fall into the water.
The underwater sequence constitutes the second half of the game. The player has to move from the left side of the screen to the right and then back to the surfboard. However, there is a sunken galleon waiting for him. While avoiding the jellyfish, the player has to navigate through a maze of walls in a limited time.
Once he reaches the top of the board, a new, more difficult round begins. Scoring is achieved by staying on top of the waves for as long as possible; every 1000 points adds one life.
