Take a Break! Crosswords is a video game in the puzzle genre developed by Dynamix, Inc. and published by Sierra On-Line, Inc. originally released in 1992. It is currently playable on Windows 3.x.

Take a Break! Crosswords is a collection of crossword puzzles licensed from Dell. Volume I represents the 375 crosswords from Dell Magazines, where you have to put the word, which is an answer for the given question, in vertical or horizontal line of the table. These words have common letters by the crossword and allows to remember the word by the letters available in the already solved words.

There are 3 difficulty levels (Easy, Medium, Hard) and 4 puzzle sizes (13x13, 15x15, 17x17, 19x19) as well as 3 player skills (Apprentice, Puzzle, Fanatic).

The interactivity of the game is achieved through word choice; self-checking of the answered word; hint selection, scoring taking into account difficulty level, puzzle size, solving time, hint usage, correct answers and player skill; opening, saving and restoring puzzles.

The beautiful little elf Wanda watches your progress, comments on your actions and congratulates you with animations starring herself.
