Tegel's Mercenaries is the inferior prequel to Mindcraft's sci-fi tactical combat game Strike Squad. Aside from a passable plot (you control a team of mercenaries working for Tegel, the space-age corporate bully) and decent VGA graphics, there's really nothing else to recommend about the game.
It's the same old man-to-man tactical space combat we've all seen too many times, but with very clunky controls and an interface that lacks any kind of user-friendliness. Couple that with a very stupid AI, and you have a Real Dog that's not worth bothering with. Good thing Strike Squad is much better, though not by much.
