Tengai is a video game in the action genre developed by Psikyo Co.,Ltd. and published by Atlus Co., Ltd. originally released in 1996. It is currently playable on SEGA Saturn, Arcade.

In the midst of the booming arcade game scene of the 1990s, SEGA released Tengai for their Saturn console in 1996. The side-scrolling shoot ‘em up game follows a group of female warriors in a mystical world as they battle against demonic forces to save their home from destruction. With its vibrant graphics, engaging gameplay, and unique character designs, Tengai quickly gained a devoted fan base and remains a cult classic among retro game enthusiasts.

One of the most striking features of Tengai is its art style. The game boasts rich and detailed 2D graphics, drawing inspiration from traditional Japanese and Chinese art.
