Terminator

Terminator is a video game in the action genre and published by Power House, The originally released in 1986. It is currently playable on Commodore 64.

Your planet is under attack by an alien force that is more or less invincible. Instead of sending thousands of people to their deaths to try to destroy it, the solution is to send a fighter pilot to the alien planets and destroy them to force the enemy into submission. You have been selected for this task and must destroy a certain number of alien ships as you fly over the surface of each planet. When you have killed enough of them, the planet changes color and you fly over the surface again. Once you have killed enough aliens, the planet will be destroyed.

If you are shot, touch an alien or hit the surface of the planet, you lose one of your three lives. In between the destruction of the planet there is a bonus game in which the cursor moves over a row of bonus dots. Press the fire button and the cursor slows down before stopping on a bonus point. Then the cursor moves over Win or Lose. Press the fire button again and this determines whether you win or lose.

Terminator is a horizontally scrolling shoot-em-up viewed from the side. Control of your ship is similar to Uridium's ship, where the screen scrolls as you move and you can rotate your ship and go in the opposite direction, as well as control the speed of your ship. In addition to the main game area, you can also see your score and lives.
