Description The Blue Planet 2000
The Blue Planet 2000 is a 4X game and could be considered a variant of Civilization. The game starts in 6000 BC and the player controls a nation throughout history. Factions expand across planets (either Earth or randomly generated environments) establishing new cities and interacting with other factions through diplomacy and brute force. Other important aspects are resource management, keeping citizens happy and researching new developments until the nation is ready for space travel. The controls are mainly numbers and icons; for example, the icons on the world map are moved by pressing the directional arrows on the menu bar.
