The Challenge of... NEXAR is a video game in the action genre developed by Sirius Software, Inc. and published by Spectravision originally released in 1982. It is currently playable on Atari 2600.
You are about to become a Spectra warrior. To do this, you must fly through the warp zone levels and destroy the radioactive beacons. The higher the level, the more you must destroy. These beacons are protected by saucers that explode on impact. You can destroy these saucers to earn points or avoid them. When destroying saucers and beacons, try not to stay in place or you will be hit by debris; each level requires the destruction of a number of beacons in 99 seconds, as indicated by the number at the bottom right corner of the screen.
