Description The Dark Convergence
The Dark Convergence is a very rare horror adventure game from the early 90s.
The plot is simple: one night the player and some friends have a car accident on a nearly deserted road. The player is sent to get help and stumbles upon an abandoned house. Inside are bloodied bodies, and unknown threats from other worlds and other dimensions try to kill the player. Will he survive the night and save the day?
The game is programmed in QBasic (there is even a . bas file inside the game folder) and the engine is similar to the one used in Hugo's House of Horror series. The player controls the character with the arrow keys and types the desired action with the parser.
The game focuses on a morbid atmosphere and violence, with many unpleasant and bloody situations. The plot and atmosphere are reminiscent in some ideas of Dark Seed.
