Description The Famous Five: Five on a Treasure Island
In terms of both interface and setting, this license was atypical for adventure games at the time. Enid Blyton's Famous Five books told of merry adventures on mysterious treasure islands starring a group of well-mannered, inquisitive youngsters. The story takes place in Aunt Fanny's house, a fishing boat, a forest, and a backyard, among other places.
It all comes to life in the form of an interactive fictional game, with a purely keyboard-based interface. Descriptions are written in Blytonian language. You can control any of the four human characters at any time, and you must switch between them often. You can EXAMINE and TAKE objects, TALK to people and even attack yourself.
