Description The Force

The Force is a strategy game that allows you to control the police force of a fictional city called Middletown. You start the game by viewing a map of the entire city which is divided into 16 squares and consists of four police stations, each of which covers a certain area with its own equipment and type of police. The city is made up of the usual areas of most British cities, such as urban areas, residential areas, leisure areas and industrial estates. You can also see that the city has an airport for the arrival of important visitors and a soccer stadium for an up-and-coming team. You can also consult an agenda to see the major events that are going to take place in the near future.

By moving the cursor you can click on any police station and take a closer look at certain areas of the city with icons showing the type of police there, as well as the crimes and events that are occurring. You can move the icons to other areas, but the computer only allows you to place the correct ones and you always have to do three shifts a day, as you control the police force on a daily basis. Once the week is completed, a small mini-game appears in which you have to control the traffic lights on various roads to keep the traffic flowing for a short period of time.
