Description The New Castle
Following a storyline typical of its generation of early mainframe text adventures, Castle challenges its player to explore a castle, avoiding hazards, in search of 590 hidden treasure points found in and around the premises. Standard childhood conventions of the genre abound, including the surprising use of magic words for convenient teleportation and a manifestly unappealable random maze, here sprinkled with some of the author's choicest gags and bons mots from idols and various media sources.
