The Perfect General

The Perfect General is a video game in the strategy genre developed by White Wolf Productions and published by Quantum Quality Productions originally released in 1991. It is currently playable on DOS, Amiga.

The Perfect General 1 launched QQP to fame when it was published in 1990. The game offers a complete player history, an elaborate scoring system and good AI.

The Perfect General 2 ups the ante with VGA graphics, modem play, excellent phased action and better AI. Arguably the best game QQP ever produced, PG2 unfortunately didn't make much of an impact, perhaps due to the release of SSI's groundbreaking Panzer General in the same year (1994). Two abstract wargames at their best!

Note: In 2002, Killer Bee Software announced the acquisition of the copyright and source code for Empire Deluxe and The Perfect General from Mark Baldwin and Bob Rakosky, formerly of White Wolf Productions.
