Description The Price is Right

GameTek's homemade version of the classic game show The Price is Right. Bob Barker and the Beauties are absent, but a multitude of price games from the show have been faithfully reproduced, as well as the wheel and the showcase.

Four (or a maximum of eight, counting the two rounds-the program suggests switching players) contestants can play, and the computer stands in for the rest. Either by bidding in the contestant line or by playing a pricing game, contestants will try to accurately guess the price of an item provided. All items in the game are often - unintentionally - misspellings of recognizable brand names, to avoid trademark infringement.

Pricing games include Mountain Climb (where your 3 guesses must be within $300 total, otherwise a goat will push you off the cliff), Safe Decipher (where you have 3 possibilities for each part of the price, and must guess correctly), and the Dice Game (where you accept or reject random rolls to get the actual price).

There is a persistent Hall of Fame with the winners and their scores, and an analyzer to guess the prices of the offers. Players have to type in their guesses on price, and respond to the math of how 'wrong' they were, as they would if they were on the show.
