The Sims: Bustin’ Out was an intriguing game released in 2004 for the N-Gage platform that allowed players an interesting way to simulate life. It was based off the popular computer game, The Sims, and was the first game to be released by Electronic Arts for the N-Gage.
The game focused on the idea of escaping from your Sim’s parents’ home. Players had to complete certain tasks to propel their Sim onto a journey of financial and professional success. These tasks included finding a job, making a certain amount of money, and gathering enough objects and memories related to the objectives. Success in the game depended on the decisions made by the players’ Sim, and players could make their Sim’s lives easier by customizing their look and personality through buying them clothes and accessories.
The Sims: Bustin’ Out contained some interesting new features not seen in other games released before it. For example, the game let players take control of a car and drive around for exploratory purposes. This feature was a great way for players to tour different parts of the game, building up their success as well as their Sim’s success by working at different jobs and seeing different leisurely activities. Another point of the game was unlocking secret characters by completing tasks, some of which could prove to be quite difficult.
