Description The Trooper
The Trooper is a hack-and-slash action platformer set in the Crimean War. As a British cavalryman, mounted on horseback and wielding a sword, your mission is simple: kill the Russian soldiers before they kill you, with their muskets, mortars and rapid-fire guns. Each stage requires you to fill your 'kill' meter; once you've killed the required number of enemy soldiers, you can head for the exit. Your dead enemies will randomly drop power-ups that give you temporary invulnerability, extra lives and even a sword that shoots fireballs.
Made in homage to Iron Maiden and their song of the same name. The author has also released a version of the song (in . XM FastTracker format), which can be used in the game as background music.
