Description The Ultimate Ride
The Ultimate Ride is a first-person motorcycle racing game with six Japanese motorcycles to choose from. The player participates in races (with or without a qualifying lap) and tries to win them. Although this is not a simulation, the game controls are rather realistic and require the player to ride carefully with the powerful machines on offer.
The most important aspect of the game is the courses: there are six traditional courses that are similar to those in real life and another six that run through fields. On these, the player also has to worry about obstacles, such as animals on the road or other vehicles (although there is no oncoming traffic). The only customization options for the bikes are the choice between manual or automatic gears and three tires to be chosen depending on the course and weather conditions. There is also an editor to design new routes.
