Top Hat Willy

Top Hat Willy is a video game in the action genre developed by Overflow Productions and published by Overflow Productions originally released in 2002. It is currently playable on DOS.

Gameplay:

When the game has started, you can control Willy using the joystick or cursor keys (Press the up arrow or any shift or control key to jump).To use the stairs, you must jump towards them (Unlike inJet Set Willy, where you had to jump across them to pass them). You must avoid all moving monsters and deadly looking spikes, as they are fatal to your health. Also, falling from too great a height results in death. Nine lives may seem like a lot, but when you see how hard life is in Willy's mansion, the amount doesn't seem so luxurious!

The object of the game is to collect all the trash (blinking objects) from the mansion and the mansion grounds. Willy can't go to sleep if he hasn't. Maybe he's had a party and the landlady won't let him sleep until he's cleaned up the junk? Or maybe Willy is from a cleaning company and has been commissioned to run a haunted house? Something like that. In any case, in true 8-bit tradition, the task is nearly impossible and only a very persistent player or someone with mental problems can accomplish it. The fun is trying to beat your score, or better yet, someone else's (however, I have found that it is POSSIBLE to complete the game, so keep trying... there's something nice at the end:)
