Description Torpedo Fire
Torpedo Fire is a turn-based tactical World War II naval warfare game centered on combat between submarines and destroyers. The player can take the role of a submarine commander or destroyer captain on either side of the conflict, while sending orders to other ships under his command. The game allows playing against a partner (hot multiplayer) or against the computer AI in turns simulating 60 minutes of real combat.
The game features different interfaces for submarine and destroyer players (a periscope interface for the submarine and a radarsonar screen for the destroyer) and comes with a single introductory mission to hone your skills. However, the game includes a substantial database of ships and weapons that can be used in the included SSI Shipyard program, which allows the player to design campaigns and scenarios.
