Wanted

Wanted is a video game in the action genre developed by Sanritsu Denki Co., Ltd. and published by SEGA of America, Inc. originally released in 1989. It is currently playable on SEGA Master System.

In this game, you play as Michael Chen, and your job is to make your way through seven stages.

The game is divided into two parts. In the odd-numbered stages you have to shoot the gunmen who frequent saloons, hotels and towns. When a gunman threatens you with a pistol, you only have a few seconds to shoot him before you lose any lives. If this happens, you can increase your life meter by shooting the barrels that are scattered around town, and then detonate the bomb that is revealed, taking out the gunmen in sight. You must be careful not to shoot innocent civilians or the surrendering gunmen, or you will also lose life. At the end of these rounds, the leader will emerge from a building and move from side to side, occasionally shooting at you if he gets the chance.

In the even-numbered phases (except the sixth), you must ride through a desert, shooting at gunmen who pass you. You can increase your life by shooting the one gunman who is not on horseback and then detonating the bomb that is revealed. At the end of these levels, you will face a challenging stage, where the goal is to shoot as many targets as you can before time runs out.
