Description Weave 3D

Weave 3D is a puzzle game for Windows in which players arrange colored strands across a series of three-dimensional frames. Each stage presents a compact network of bars, pins, and open spaces, with several loose strands waiting to be routed into position. The object is to weave every strand through the structure without crossing forbidden points or occupying the same channel as another. Completed patterns form orderly geometric designs, while later puzzles introduce tighter layouts, additional colors, and more complicated routes.

The game is controlled entirely with the mouse. Clicking a strand selects it, and dragging the pointer guides it around the available pegs and rails. The view can be rotated to inspect the construction from different angles, making depth an important part of each solution. A strand that appears to pass cleanly across the front may be blocked by a rear section, and successful play depends on checking the entire arrangement rather than relying on a single viewpoint. Undo and reset commands allow experiments without forcing the player to restart a completed puzzle.

Stages are arranged in a gradual progression, beginning with simple two-dimensional patterns before introducing full three-dimensional forms. Early screens teach the basic rules through broad spaces and a small number of strands. As the game advances, the structures become denser and the routes more interdependent. Some solutions require a particular order of movement, since placing one strand can close a passage needed by another. The challenge comes from recognizing the final pattern and planning a route through it, rather than from quick reactions or time-limited control.

The visual presentation uses clean, brightly colored shapes against dark, uncluttered backgrounds. Strands are rendered as smooth bands with distinct colors, while the supporting frames use simple metallic and translucent surfaces. Rotating the puzzle produces a clear sense of depth, with sections fading slightly as they move behind the main structure. Menus and stage selections follow the same restrained style, keeping attention on the central puzzle. Small flashes and changes in color indicate a correctly placed strand, and the finished design receives a brief completion animation.

Audio supports the quiet, methodical character of the game. Mouse actions are accompanied by soft clicks and short electronic tones, while successful placements produce brighter notes that distinguish progress from an invalid move. Background music consists of light, repeating synthesizer phrases that remain unobtrusive during extended play. With its steadily increasing layouts and emphasis on spatial reasoning, Weave 3D offers a calm but demanding series of construction puzzles, rewarding patience, careful observation, and a willingness to view each problem from every direction.
