Wing Arms is a video game in the action genre developed by Bell Corporation and published by SEGA Corporation originally released in 1995. It is currently playable on SEGA Saturn.

Wing Arms, released by Sega in 1995, is a science-fiction, rail shooter game for the Saturn console. Players take control of a fighter jet, complete with weaponry, as they attempt to protect a space-colony from alien attackers.

Players must use the jet’s arsenal to combat waves of various enemies, while trying to conserve both energy and ammunition. Energy is used to sustain shield strength, and must be replenished regularly throughout the game. Ammunition can be reloaded by picking up special items.

Wing Arms features multiple outlining paths, allowing players to choose which route they would like the jet to take. These paths lead to several boss fights, allowing the player to dictate the order of the bosses they face.

The level design is diverse, with a number of different locales, including grassy mountain-top arenas and vast zero-gravity battle-stages. The graphics are a combination of pixel art and polygonal 3D, providing a unique aesthetic. The sound design conveys a sense of emotion and atmosphere throughout the game, soundtracking intense firefights with upbeat electronic music.

The controls are tight and responsive, making maneuvering of the jet fluid and smooth. Both the difficulty and the challenge level are balanced, incrementally escalating as players progress through the levels.

Wing Arms is a solid and enjoyable adventure, full of varied and engaging gameplay. It offers a great experience with its vibrant and intriguing visual design, challenging bosses, and a good level of difficulty. It is an excellent addition to Sega’s catalogue of games, and a must play for Saturn players.
