Yahtzee is a text-based implementation of the popular Apple II dice game.
The player alternately rolls five dice and may roll any or all of them two more times before choosing a scoring category. There are six scoring categories within the top row, including all totals from 1 to 6. If the top row total is 63 or more, the player receives a bonus of 35 points. The bottom row has the following categories: 3 of a kind, 4 of a kind, full house, 4 straight dice, 5 straight dice, Yahtzee (5 of a kind), and chance (sum of all dice). The game ends when all 11 scoring categories have been used. There are also computerized games.
