Description Aliens
Aliens is a shareware single-player game based on Taito's Space Invaders. As in the classic Space Invaders game, the player has a cannon that can move left and right along the base of the game window. The cannon fires upward at the descending alien ships. This game varies from the original in several ways: here there are no buildings to hide behind.
In another variation of the original game alien ships land and steal the planet's resources, these ships must be destroyed once they take off as if they reach the top of the screen the player's score is reduced.
Finally, the player must protect the defending ships when they take off. Shooting them down by mistake also reduces the player's scoreThe game is controlled entirely with the keyboard. The player's score is displayed in the game title bar as the game progresses, there is no high score function.
