Alligator People is a video game in the action genre and published by Sunmark Electronics originally released in 2003. It is currently playable on Atari 2600.
The game is based on the 1959 20th Century Fox sci-fi horror film of the same name. You are Jane Marvin. A medical experiment gone wrong has transformed your finances and five of your friends into crocodiles. You must get the crocodile antidote and cure them.
As a syringe, you must collect the antidote and serum as you move around the screen. The serum increases the potency of the antidote so that you can cure them with less quantity. You can then target the infected person at the top or bottom of the screen and press the button to inject them. The longer it takes to administer the antidote, the more the infected person mutates and the more antidote you need to treat them. However, not everything is so simple, as there are also normal crocodiles in the swamp, which lose a life when touched. If a crocodile touches you, you lose a life.
Some variants have movable walls. This makes it difficult to see the crocodile, the antidote and the serum. The serum only appears in the variants with walls. Some variants allow you to walk through walls, while others have walls that harden and can crush you if you get between two closed walls. once you have treated your six companions, move on to the next level.
