Description Astérix and the Great Rescue
The game is based on the popular French comic book series Asterix. The year is 50 B. C. and all of Gaul (today's France) has been conquered by the Romans. Only one village remains independent, thanks to the incredible powers of its two great warriors, Asterix and Obelix. In the game, they must first free Orvio's village and rescue their friend Dogmatix.
The player can play as Asterix or Obelix. They make their way through the platforming levels, fighting enemies with punches, and jumping to access higher areas or to avoid falling. There are also some objects that the player can collect, such as bombs, with which they can overcome obstacles and advance in the game.
