Description Atom Ant

It is based on the Hanna-Barbera cartoon and was one of the Hanna-Barbera licensed games released by Hi-Tec Software.

Players take control of Atom Ant who must save the city from destruction. The mayor of the city has received a ransom from 'Mad Dog' Jackson and has threatened to blow up the city if the ransom is not paid. He has placed numerous bombs on top of some buildings in the city and you must fly around the building to pick up the bombs and defuse them with the atomizer, which is located on top of the building. You can only pick up one bomb at a time, so once you have defused one bomb you can pick up another.

Each building has eight bombs placed on it and you have four minutes to clear each building. The buildings also have a number of enemies, such as wasps and helicopters, to avoid. Contact with these enemies costs you one life and the loss of all your lives ends the game. If you fail to defuse all the bombs in the level within the time limit, the game ends regardless of the number of lives you have left. You can also collect certain bonuses to increase your time and gain an extra life.
