A stock market simulation for 1-4 players, each with an initial investment of $5,000 and a simple goal: get filthy rich by trading 10 different stocks. Originally written for the DEC PDP-10, and published in the January 1977 issue of Byte magazine, the game is based on a realistic (non-randomized) simulation of the stock market, lasting from 3 to 10 years of play.
Each year represents a turn, in which players receive dividends and can buy and sell stocks. Bull and bear market periods will influence the value of shares accordingly; shares must be surrendered if the company goes bankrupt, and split when their value rises to $150.
