Bounce Zone is a video game in the action genre and published by COMPUTE! Publications, Inc. originally released in 1990. It is currently playable on DOS.
One of the best Pong games I've seen, Bounce Zone is a 3D Pong game that is packed with all the options you could want. You can change the size of the bats, the speed of the game (although you'll need MoSlo or other slowdown programs if you want to play on something faster than a 386) and the difficulty levels. The gameplay itself is deeper than Pong, as you can move the bat back and forth (into the foreground, the third dimension, in other words), as well as sideways - the game wasn't exactly free, but was included in an issue of Compute magazine!
All in all, if you have a few minutes to kill, you can't go wrong with this addictive free game that really stands the test of time. Besides, you'll be hard pressed to find a better Pong game, free or not.
