Moonstone: A Hard Days Knight is a video game in the action genre and published by Mindscape International Ltd. originally released in 1992. It is currently playable on DOS.

Something is happening in these lands, and the only hope seems to be the moonstone. You, as the chosen knight of the druids, are about to find it and bring it back. The game can be played from 1 to 4 players at a time, with no difference between solo and multiplayer, as no matter how many players play, the story remains the same for everyone. However, if you choose to play with a single player/knight, the other three will be the computer opponents. Wandering around the map, you can visit haunted places, villages where you can buy equipment or try your luck in the game, but the most visited places on the map will be huts that represent the places where certain enemy beasts are. Each location has about two or more beasts that after defeating them can be rewarded in a certain way, depending on the random placement of the game.

Also, for example, if the location has three beasts and you kill two before you die, the next time you (or another player) return there, there will only be one beast left to fight. It is also possible for two players to cross paths and, once the other has been defeated, the one who prevails will be able to steal the other player's money and/or weapons. Thus begins the quest for the moonstone, but that is only half of the story. The rest unfolds once you find it.
