Description C'est La Vie

Jacques has to collect ten, twenty and fifty dollar bills scattered around the streets of New York before time runs out. He must also be on the lookout for muggers and tax collectors prowling the streets for victims. If one of them catches Jacques, they will relentlessly pursue him until they catch him. Once Jacques is caught, a tax collector will steal 50% of his earnings, and a mugger will steal everything. Crashing into walls will land Jacques in a hospital for treatment and will also land him a bill for $200.

When he earns enough money, he can deposit it safely in the bank. Alternatively, Jacques can buy or sell stocks on Wall Street, but how much stock he gets depends on the current state of the stock market. If Jacques runs out of money, he can get a loan of up to $10,000, and he has two months to repay the loan. If Jacques does not pay back the loan within two months, loan shark Ed will send one of his goons to find Jacques and strip him of his money and put him in a hospital. The idea is to make Jacques as rich as possible.
