Cyberia

Cyberia is a video game in the action genre developed by Xatrix Entertainment, Inc. and published by Interplay Productions Ltd. originally released in 1994. It is currently playable on DOS.

In the year 2027, the world is controlled by two rival superpowers, the Free World Alliance of the Western Bloc and the Cartel of the Eastern Bloc. Transmissions from an FWA spy reveal the location of a secret multinational laboratory deep in Siberia, the Cyberia Complex, where a mysterious weapon is being developed. FWA leader Devlin releases a cyber-hacker named Zak from prison and sends him to infiltrate the complex to discover the true nature of the Cyberia weapon.

Unfortunately, the cartel is also interested in the weapon and will stop at nothing to get it. Not only must Zak fight his way through the cartel forces sent to stop him, but he must also overcome the cartel agents who have already taken control of the compound. To make matters worse, the genetic creations of Cyberian scientists are on the loose in the same area as the weapon, and Devlin also seems to have something up his sleeve.

Cyberia is an action game with puzzle sequences and a heavy reliance on scripted events and cutscenes. The game allows for limited navigation between locations, usually leading to a puzzle or (more often) action cutscenes that involve shooting down planes with a turret or navigating various flying vehicles, destroying enemies in a Star Wars: Rebel Assault-style showdown.
