Description Jump Jet
Jump Jet lets you pilot the pride of the British Navy, the Harrier VTOL fighter, over land and sea on a dangerous mission. The game takes the form of a side-scrolling shoot'em'up. After taking off from your base, your plane is attacked by enemy aircraft which, naturally, must be shot down. After crossing the sea and mountains, you must attack a fortified island. Unlike normal sidescrollers, your plane actually flies faster than the scroll of the screen, causing it to reappear on the far left of the screen once it has reached the right side. A gauge at the bottom shows the status of your mission, while scores, levels and ammo are posted at the top. Much of the game is written in BASIC.
